It's Monday! What are you reading? From Picture Books to YA

Its Monday!  What are you reading?  From Picture Books to YA is a weekly feature hosted by Jen and Kellee of Teach Mentor Texts and inspired by Its Monday!  What are you reading by Sheila at Book Journeys.

Happy Spring Break!  How long are you off/were you off for?  We had Friday, today and tomorrow, which is the longest spring break I've ever had (I think!).

Last week I read BREADCRUMBS by Anne Ursu, HOLD FAST by Blue Balliet, THE CLOCKWORK PRINCESS by Cassandra Clare and CLAUDE IN THE CITY by Alex T. Smith.  I started TEMPESTUOUS by Kim Askew and Amy Helmes (it's a modern retelling of The Tempest)

And CONGRATULATIONS to Shannon C. (http://www.irunreadteach.wordpress.com)!  She won an ebook copy of ASYLYM by Jenny Miller!  I'll be emailing you sometime today, Shannon :)

I like the calendar idea (though I'd love to figure out how to resize it so it isn't so dang big!), so here is this week and after that is a March recap.

  1. I am still working on Clockwork Princess. I really can't explain why I have not devoured it. I plan to remedy that this week! http://wp.me/pzUn5-1t0

  2. Didn't you just love the magic of Breadcrumbs??? I'm not a fantasy kind of girl, but this one was beautiful and had enough realistic fiction to make me happy!

I CANNOT believe I won the book-YAY me!!! I'm so excited!
