Its Monday! What are you reading? From Picture Books to YA is a weekly feature hosted by Jen and Kellee of Teach Mentor Texts and inspired by Its Monday! What are you reading by Sheila at Book Journeys.
I finally finished A DANCE WITH DRAGONS (Game of Thrones 5)...(and I can't decide if I like typing titles in all caps or not, it makes me feel like I'm yelling them at you)...started and finished HOLD FAST by Blue Balliet (what a pretty name). I really liked it, but it made me sad. I don't know if I can write a review for it. I also started and hope to finish by the end of the day BREADCRUMBS by Anne Ursu. Up next is CLAUDE IN THE CITY and THE CLOCKWORK PRINCESS! (I can't wait to read CP2, I like this series--The Infernal Devices---so much more than The Mortal Instruments).
Anywho, I'm off again for snow. I do not remember a March---even a March in Chicago---where we had this much snow! It's crazy! We've had more snow days in March than we did the entire rest of the winter!

What are you reading?
I think that A DANCE WITH DRAGONS deserves to be shouted because, REALLY? OH.MY.GOD. I am lingering over Clockwork Princess this week too. And I agree that this series is so much better than the other one (but I still read them faithfully!) Enjoy your snow day! http://wp.me/pzUn5-1su
ReplyDeleteI love your calendar idea. I also loved Hold Fast even though it was very sad. I have heard about A Dance with Dragons several times. I'll have to check it out.
ReplyDeleteI loved Hold Fast and agree that it was so so so sad. It was hard for me to read and manage my emotions. I was getting really upset by it...which I think actually says a lot about the author and the book. I liked Breadcrumbs but wish I had had more Snow Queen background knowledge when I read it. Enjoy Clockwork Princess!
