Its Monday! What are you reading? From Picture Books to YA

Its Monday!  What are you reading?  From Picture Books to YA is a weekly feature hosted by Jen and Kellee of Teach Mentor Texts and inspired by Its Monday!  What are you reading by Sheila at Book Journeys.

So, its been a while since I've participated!  If you didn't check out my picture posts on our travel blog, The Furmans On Tour, I had a WONDERFUL time!  And if you did, thanks!  I hope you enjoyed the posts while I was away.

What are you reading?

  1. Looks like you have been busy. I am attempting to read 20 books in July so I should probably read not sit here blogging. Ha! Happy summer

    1. You can find a loophole and read 20 picture books! ;)
      Good luck!

  2. I bet you're glad to be home!
I've seen The Great Unexpected on a couple of lists as well as on Goodreads...just added it to my to-read shelf!

    1. I'm glad to be back in my bed! Though, I think if we could have taken it with us, we'd never be back! (Well, until the money ran out!)

The Great Unexpected is really good. All of Ms. Creech's books have such a great voice and this one doesn't disappoint!

  3. It's great that you got reading done on vacation! It's hit or miss for me...with kids, it makes reading hard no matter what. Is that the new Sharon Creech? I am excited to see what she has in store for us. :)

    1. I felt bad that I didn't get more reading done! But thankfully, my husband put up with my wanting to listen to Harry Potter (I didn't have to twist his arm too hard!)

The Great Unexpected is the new Sharon Creech! I'm really enjoying it!

Gold stars given to good comments.
