Playlist: The Catastrophic History of You and Me

Product Details

I read The Catastrophic History of You and Me (by Jess Rothenberg) for my Geeks Who Read online YA book club.  One of the best parts about the book was that each chapter was titled after a song (from my teenage years).  They help put the chapter into perspective a little better, I think.  Plus, I really liked that it was songs that I knew!

Anyway, I thought that if you wanted to make a bookish playlist, here would be a quick and dirty one for you to start with---"the catastrophic playlist" as I'm calling it on my ipod!

Please note that the song title is what is shared, but in the book, its sometimes a lyric from the song that is the chapter title, so I did the hard part for you and figured out what song.  Generally speaking, the quote is in the ( parentheses ) and the title is what is left outside.

  1. I still need to get all the songs for this book as well. It's true though, you can see the story progression within the songs!
