Its Monday! What are you reading? From Picture Books to YA

Its Monday!  What are you reading?  From Picture Books to YA is a weekly feature hosted by Jen and Kellee of Teach Mentor Texts and inspired by Its Monday!  What are you reading by Sheila at Book Journeys.

This past week..
I finished the audiobook of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone on Sunday and started HP and the Chamber of Secrets on audiobook on my Monday morning commute.  I'm still reading A Voice for Kanzas, but not really enjoying it, so I started Peter Nimble and his Fantastic Eyes a little early.  Thank goodness I did---this book is wonderful!  Its been on my shelf for months, I can't believe I let it sit that long!

Coming up:
After Peter Nimble, I'll try to finish A Voice for Kanzas, but I just don't know.  I do know that I have Wonder, Bud, Not Buddy, the Mighty Miss Malone, the One and Only Ivan, Breaking Stalin's Nose and Inside Out and Back Again waiting for me....so Kanzas might be put on hold (or DNF'd and gifted)  But, I have my Spring Break Book-A-Day all planned!

  2. I love that you are listening to Harry Potter. I have always wanted to reread them but even my rereading month isn't enough time to reread the series. Maybe over a summer someday. Peter Nimble and Fantastic Eyes sounds weird to me! I should probably go read the summary and find out what it's really about. Wonder is amazing.I notice it's first in your list so I think you should definitely read that first!

  3. I love the Harry Potter audio books- I listened to them before book 7 came out. Jim Dale is an amazing narrator.

Man! You have some great books (and some of the same books as me) waiting in your pile. The One and Only Ivan, Wonder & Bud, Not Buddy are great reads while I have Breaking Stalin's Nose and Inside Out and Back Again in my TBR soon pile.

    Happy reading!
