Its Monday! What are you reading? From Picture Books to YA is a weekly feature hosted by Jen and Kellee of Teach Mentor Texts and inspired by Its Monday! What are you reading by Sheila at Book Journeys.

February 28: Out of the mouths of babes (4): Bone 1 / Out of Boneville; Review: About Habitats: Oceans
February 29: Review: Freshman Year and Other Unnatural Disasters (that included a few pics of me freshman year---the horrors! No, seriously, I found some gems...) ; Out of the mouths of babes (5): Babymouse Beach Babe
March 1: Author interview: Meredith Zeitlin, author of Freshman Year and Other Unnatural Disasters; Discussion Post: Audiobooks---where to get 'em?
March 2: Review: A Place for Bats; Friday Night Mental Movie: Horton Halfpott vs the cast of Downton Abbey

March 4: In my mailbox
I finished the audiobook of Horton Halfpott OR The Fiendish Myster of Smugwick Manor OR The Loosening of M'Lady Luggatuck's Corset by Tom Angelberger (later this afternoon, I'll be posting a review. Hint--I LOVED it!) I also finished Chaos Walking Book 2: The Ask and The Answer. WHOA. These two books totally got me out of last week's reading funk!
I finished Me and Earl and the Dying Girl by Jesse Andrews. I'm not sure how I feel about the book. I feel like it was an insightful look at how cancer affects those who love the people with cancer, but I'm not 100% sure I actually liked it. Isn't that weird?
This week:
I'm currently reading: Chaos Walking (3): Monsters of Men by Patrick Ness
I'm listening to the audiobook of: Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging by Louise Rennison
March 5: This post
March 6: Out of the Mouths of Babes {6}: Geronimo Stilton and the Gold Medal Mystery
March 7: Audiobook review: Horton Halfpott...
March 8: Thoughts on the Chaos Walking Trilogy by Patrick Ness
March 9: Review: Me and Earl and the Dying Girl
March 10: This week on Pinterest
March 11: In My Mailbox

Several of my kids have been talking about Horton Halpott - and I see different versions of it on your post...off I go to check ''em out!
ReplyDeleteWith all the Chaos Walking talk, now I want to read the third in the series. I might tackle it soon...maybe spring break? Even though I usually get less reading done when I'm off/home. I thought Full Frontal Snogging was entertaining. It's a funny title that I don't think people realize that much what it means!!! The voice is great in those books. :)
