I just want to throw out another plea for guest bloggers / post on your own blog and I'd direct people over to you (there really is no catchy way to say that) for the 25 days leading up to Christmas / 25 days of holiday book reviews. I'd love if you signed up to talk about your favorite holiday book (though I do have a friend who is talking about the many forms of A Christmas Carol...we'll let it slide). Please click this link to sign up. I'd love to have at least 1 holiday book reviewed per day, and as of right now, I'm falling short of that goal.
This past week: I finished Fingerprints of You by Kristen-Paige Madonia and started Wonder Show by Hannah Barnaby
Nov. 5: It's Monday! post
Nov. 6: App review: uSpeak Ingles
Nov. 7: Quick Check: How to Train Your Dragon
Nov. 8: Review: Bloodlines;
This coming week, I am still reading Wonder Show, but I also got notice that Game of Thrones (Fire and Ice) is ready for me to get from the library. As its an e-book, I only have 3 weeks to finish it, so I have to get reading!
I realized that the only posts I have planned are:
Nov 12: This post
Nov 13: Review: Fingerprints of You
Nov 15: Thursday #Thirstday
Nov 16: App review: Number Run
Nov 17: Be a giver
Now, I'm pretty sure I can think of something else, but we'll just have to see.
What are you reading?
I am working my way through book 5 of A Song of Ice and Fire! This series has pretty much taken over my reading for the past year. Have fun! Here is my list http://wp.me/pzUn5-1iE
ReplyDeleteA Song of Fire and Ice in a nutshell: If book 1 hooks you, you're in. Book 2 bad things happen to people. Book 3 more bad things happen. It's a none stop blood bath that will leaving you in tears. Book 4 is much slower-paced and introduces a lot of new characters. Book 5 goes back to the beloved characters that were not in 4. It's a wild ride and I am loving every minute of it.
ReplyDeleteAlso, this wiki is super helpful, but be careful, there are tons of spoilers! http://awoiaf.westeros.org/
