It's Monday! What are you reading? From picture books to YA

Its Monday!  What are you reading?  From Picture Books to YA is a weekly feature hosted by Jen and Kellee of Teach Mentor Texts and inspired by Its Monday!  What are you reading by Sheila at Book Journeys.

On Sunday evening, I finished BITTERBLUE and am preparing to start A STORM OF SWORDS (Game of Thrones 3).  These big books are making it so easy to reach my 10,000 page goal for this year!

I haven't been as good at keeping up my Project Life blog, but have been posting on Instagram (akfurman)/Twitter (@maestra_amanda) / Facebook every day (pretty much every day!).

Last week's posts:
January 14:  It's Monday post
January 15:  {Deep Thoughts}: GRACELING
January 16:  {Deep Thoughts}: FIRE
January 17:  Thursday #thirstday, {Deep Thoughts}: BITTERBLUE
January 18:  Friday Night Mental Movie: The main cast of GRACELING

This week's posts:
January 21:  It's Monday! post
January 23:  Cuddle Up With A Good Book Day
January 24:  Thursday #thirstday; I did it!
January 25:  Teachers Pay Teachers (Help wanted!)
January 26:  If I had $100

What are you reading?

  1. A Storm of Swords! Oh my. This reminded me that I have abandoned George RR Martin. I promise after I'm done with my last Walter Moers book and my two Ray Bradbury novels, I'd resume my Game of Thrones :) I'm also in the third book! Have fun with your books this week!

  2. I swear I am going to read Graceling this year. The book thing keeps getting bumped to the bottom of my list and then someone raves about it and I remember I need to read it and the cycle goes on and on...I loved Storm of Swords-the most action-packed and shocking book in the series in my opinion. Enjoy!

  4. Ahhh... Bitterblue. I'm so thankful one of my book challenges this year is sequels. I absolutely ADORED Graceling, and I own but haven't read Fire.

I read the whole (so far) GOT series and love it. I hope George starts writing faster so we get the next book soon!
