Its Monday! What are you reading? From Picture Books to YA is a weekly feature hosted by Jen and Kellee of Teach Mentor Texts and inspired by Its Monday! What are you reading by Sheila at Book Journeys.
This past week:
I read Lola and the Boy Next Door (Stephanie Perkins), The Wish Stealers (Tracy Trivas), The Flint Heart (Katherine Patterson). I really loved Lola and The Wish Stealers, but I'm having a really hard time finishing (heck, getting into) The Flint Heart.

I haven't read Lola yet, but I loved Anna and the French Kiss by Perkins!
ReplyDeleteI'm having a hard time getting started on my next read (Evermore).
Sad to hear about Flint Heart, but you are not the first person I've heard that from :(
ReplyDeleteThanks for letting me know about Wish Stealers- sounds really good! Added to my TBR.
I loved Lola and Anna- great contemporary romance YA novels.
Happy reading this week! :)
I enjoyed Lola more than Anna, but both were fun. I did not enjoy The Flint Heart either! It was weird and kind of confusing. I guess if I had read the original it might have been bettter...but it didn't do it for me at all. I say ditch it and move onto something fun! :)
