It got me thinking though...as much as I love the movie, I could just not get into the book. I bought it when the movie first came out, and I've tried to read it about once a year since then. I have never been able to finish it.
Does anyone else have that problem? Do you have a book thats been made into a movie that you just can't get into? Or a book that you prefer the movie version of more?
Interesting, I had the opposite reaction. I read this book in highschool and enjoyed it. Years later I tried to watch the movie and couldn't.

Hence I refuse to see the Hunger Games movie until I get a chance to read the books first!
