It's Monday! What are you reading? From Picture Books to YA

Its Monday!  What are you reading?  From Picture Books to YA is a weekly feature hosted by Jen and Kellee of Teach Mentor Texts and inspired by Its Monday!  What are you reading by Sheila at Book Journeys.

I was off Tuesday because I took Aaron to the airport---he was in San Diego for the week.  So I got a lot of reading done that day.  AND THEN---we had off Wednesday because 44 roads in the county had flooded.  So EVEN MORE BOOKS WERE READ!  I think I read about 8 books between those two days, some picture and some chapter.  I'm still reading WORLD WAR Z (at school, we've started SOL---state standardized---testing), and MARK OF ATHENA (at home).  I love Rick Riordan's books, but I'd love like a character chart in the back of the book.  There are SO MANY to try and remember!

I had some people comment last week wondering what Armchair BEA was.  BEA (or Book Expo America) is a big book event in NYC the end of May/beginning of June.  There are tons of author events, you can meet other bloggers and publishing people,  and participants have the chance to come home with TONS of ARCS.  Well, Armchair BEA is for those who cannot make it to the actual BEA, every day is a different type of post to get to know participants.  Click here for more details.

  1. Yes! A character chart would be so helpful. He should do a Game of Thrones-like chart with all of his demigods! http://wp.me/pzUn5-1wd

  2. In the past, BEA was the last week of school. Now that it's my first day of "vacation", I'll have to het organized and participate. Thanks for the heads up and the link!
