Its Monday! What are you reading? From Picture Books to YA is a weekly feature hosted by Jen and Kellee of Teach Mentor Texts and inspired by Its Monday! What are you reading by Sheila at Book Journeys.
I picked up Game of Thrones Book 4, A FEAST FOR CROWS, and have been working on that. I also read NATE THE GREAT with my students (we're working on a mystery unit), and VAMPIRINA BALLERINA.
I learned that I'll be attending a conference in May put on my Stephen Krashen, the ELL guru. I'm going with other teachers from my school, and my ELL counterparts in the county, so that should be really interesting. I'm also hoping I'll be able to attend the Virginia State Reading Association Conference in April (I *may* have to present our list of books!)
