It's Monday! What are you reading? From Picture Books to YA

Its Monday!  What are you reading?  From Picture Books to YA is a weekly feature hosted by Jen and Kellee of Teach Mentor Texts and inspired by Its Monday!  What are you reading by Sheila at Book Journeys.

This past week I started reading The Unwanteds by Lisa McCann.  I'm really enjoying it!  I also got in the mail The Theory of Everything by JJ Johnson (thank you Peachtree Pub!)

This past week:

September 25:  #schooljoy

September 27:  Thursday #Thirstday
September 28:  #schooljoy

Coming up:
I'm going to finish up with The Unwanteds, and next I'm planning on reading The Dead Girls Detective Agency.

I'm also planning a character birthday party for Auggie (from Wonder) on October 10th.  But, I'm looking for suggestions on what to do!  I'm planning on cupcakes, but I don't know what games (or learning activities) to do with my students!  So suggestions, please!
