Seasons Readings: Happy New Year, Everywhere!

 

Happy New Year, Everywhere! by Arlene Erlbach is a cute picture book about how different countries celebrate the New Year.  

 

I really enjoyed this book.  I liked that it had New Years traditions from about 20 different countries around the world.  Each country had included the date in which the holiday was celebrated, the name of the holiday, a traditional greeting in that country and an activity that you could do.

I think this would be a great book to have in the classroom or if you had young children at home.
