Its Monday! What are you reading? From Picture Books to YA is a weekly meme inspired by Sheila at Book Journey, and hosted by Jen and Kellee at Teach Mentor Texts. Its a nice way to recap what we've read and posted, and let people know what is coming up on our blogs.
This past week was kind of stressful at work, and I didn't get much reading done. But, I was able to read and review:
*The Virgin of Guadalupe by Tomie dePaola (Seasons Readings book)
*Kristen's Surprise (Season's Readings book)
*Christmas Cookies: Bite size holiday lessons (Seasons Readings book)
*Too Many Tamales (Seasons Readings book)
*The Night of Las Posadas (Seasons Readings book)
I also had my weekly "This week on Pinterest" post, and my IMM.
This current week, while most of you are on holiday break and can do #bookaday (JEALOUS), please think of me, still in school until 3pm on Thursday and crack a spine or two in my honor. These are the posts that I have planned for the week:
*Miss Holly is Too Jolly (Seasons Readings)...and can I just say, is "too jolly" even possible?
*Stanley's Christmas Adventure (Seasons Readings)
*Hanukkah Moon (Seasons Readings)
*My Two Holidays (Seasons Readings)
*Magic Treehouse: Christmas in Camelot (Seasons Readings)
*The Little Drummer Boy (Seasons Readings)
*Christmas Remembered (Seasons Readings)
Since Christmas is on Sunday, I am not planning an IMM for this week.
Shameless self promotion: Don't forget to head over to the Seasons Readings page and check out the books/reviews and link up your own. I'm in the home stretch---can I read and review 31 holiday books in 31 days? I think so!
