I happened across this great meme hosted by the mother and daughter duo behind Five Alarm Book Reviews. We all know you aren't supposed to judge a book by its cover, but sometimes you just have to! The cover is what draws your eye to the book and makes you want to read it!
For my first Shelf Candy, I decided to go with an author, rather than a cover. I will read ANYTHING authored by Louise Rennison. Book, email, grocery list---you name it. If she wrote it, I want to read it!
Here is a cover of her most recent book, Withering Tights, (and of course a link to my review) I love the cover! It doesn't hurt that I have a pair of tights EXACTLY like this pair!
From now on, I'm going to try to post this on Saturday, but since I just found it today (Sunday), I couldn't wait!
