At our back to school faculty meeting, my principal shared this TED talk with us by Rita Pierson.

I know some of you have already started back to school and I just wanted to share it with you.

YOU can make a difference.  YOU can change the life of a child.  It's so easy to get bogged down with assessments and data and standards and essential questions that we often forget to just smile, or give a high-five.  Just remember to be that champion.
